We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Associate Chemist for our Quality Control team. The Quality Control Chemist will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through rigorous testing and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Support routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products involving analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and FTIR.
• Performing physical and chemical testing to assess product quality, purity, and stability.
• Documenting and interpreting test results accurately and precisely, and maintaining detailed records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Investigating and troubleshooting deviations or discrepancies in test results, and proposing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, and Regulatory Affairs to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Participating in the development and validation of analytical methods, as well as equipment qualification and calibration activities.
• Completing documentation relating to material analysis and entering data into database/software systems
• Accountable for the accuracy and validity of all test results
• Other responsibilities include maintaining an audit ready lab, generation or revision of EM procedures, the support of other QC testing functions
• Maintain and perform daily operations of the QC on a daily basis in coordination with the facility manager to include testing of raw material/peptide samples and prioritizing projects
• Collaborate with other QC Staff and other Department in the creation and approval of control documents such as specifications, SOPs, STMs

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a quality control or analytical chemistry role, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or dietary supplements industry. Entry level encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation, with proficiency in HPLC, GC, and spectroscopic methods.
• Familiarity with cGMP regulations and quality standards (e.g., USP, FDA).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information.
