Job Description
  • Responsible for creating financial reports for government contract expenditures and labor hours utilization in compliance with contract reporting requirements, i.e., tables, charts, and/or graphs, as needed.
  • Analysis and generation of cost/financial spreadsheets and reports, as requested.
  • Adept at data manipulation in support of generating detailed customized cost report.
  • Assist with development of cost proposals, for new proposals and existing contracts.
  • Assists with communication to Clients/Sponsors, Stakeholders (internal and external), and Subcontractors for provision of and/or in request of budget, staffing, and other contract-specific information.
  • Responsible for administrative tasks in support of Project Management e.g., scheduling/ organizing teleconferences/meetings, coordinating the development and review of Project Management documents, e.g., Meeting Summaries, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other contract deliverables; tracking of staff onboarding and off boarding; coordinating updates to websites; assisting with ordering of office supplies; and, travel arrangements and expense reports, as well as other project duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Must possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to succeed in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience performing project accounting and/or cost tracking and analysis tasks, a plus if for a government contractor.
  • Expert computer skill set with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, is required. Demonstrated expertise in SharePoint and other systems/databases, e.g., Access are a plus.
