Our client, a local Newport, NH manufacturing facility is currently seeking a B-Shift Supervisor (4 : 30 pm to 3 am M-Th) This is a Leadership role with some required hands-on duties.

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of production workers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and will also perform a variety of mechanical, maintenance, and repair duties.

Responsibilities :

• Will oversee the day to day activities of production workers in a fast paced manufacturing environment, responsible for Safety, Quality and Productivity
• Responsible for insuring work instructions, standard work and documentation is followed
• Responsible for keeping production lines going through communication with Leaders and employee's, provide assistance and coaching to leads as needed
• Monitor techniques to increase productivity to include working as a team, reporting safety issues, respect for teammates
• Enforcing company policies such as proper attire, workstation behavior and safety
• Enforce discipline policy by always reporting violations and working with management on performance management

Requirements :

• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory experience is necessary.
• Must be reliable and able to work in a very fast paced environment.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude; prior machine operating and maintenance experience is beneficial
