THE OPPORTUNITY

Through acquisitions and organic growth, TechInsights is on a rapid growth trajectory. To fulfill our vision of advancing the world through technical insights, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition expert who knows that people are at the core of our success. The ideal candidate has a track record of building high performing teams through talent placement, and they are excited to develop and execute an aggressive talent strategy.

The Director Talent Acquisition is a people leader with broad technical skills combined with tactical leadership skills. The Director coordinates and schedules projects and staff, assigns and monitors objectives, and adjusts plans and approaches to achieve desired results. The incumbent clearly communicates priorities, and guides, coaches, evaluates, and develops others to achieve enables high performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Director Talent Acquisition is responsible for full life cycle recruitment, from sourcing to offer acceptance. They will create a thoughtful and effective recruiting process that includes researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent across the global organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
  • Collaborates with department leaders and hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Serves as a trusted partner who quickly grasps business strategies and aligns recruiting approach with business needs, resulting in client satisfaction
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
  • Oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Attends and participates in relevant job fairs and recruiting sessions
  • Demonstrated results in delivering aggressive hiring plans
  • High degree of comfort in communicating with business leaders and C-Suite executives who are under pressure to deliver results on tight timelines
  • Excellent judgement, able to balance the best interest of the company and the candidate experience
  • Positive, energetic, authentic brand ambassador who can represent the TechInsights employee value proposition
  • Cool under pressure, while also demonstrating urgency
  • Executes consistently and with minimal errors
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented, data-driven

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Expertise in gathering data and reporting on key metrics
  • Proficient in reporting and analyzing hiring and recruiting data

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • 5 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
  • Global experience highly preferred
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus
