We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Business Analyst to support our People Core Analytics function. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL and is HYBRID .

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: .

• The Senior Associate, Business Analyst will support the learning and talent development team by leading in-depth investigations and analysis relating to all aspects of learning data. This individual will analyse a robust dataset of learning enrolments, completions and outcomes across all employees at the firm to provide analytics that improve the employee experience
• The Analyst will also work with the learning team to maintain existing dashboards, build new analytics products (including automations) and provide consulting support to learning leadership
• Responsible for building out and conducting statistical analyses for various client groups within BNY Mellon
• Will work alongside other Analytics members on open ended data science projects and statistical analyses
• No direct reports

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• The position requires familiarity with Python, R or an equivalent scripting language
• The candidate must be adept at writing SQL statements and have a working knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) practices
• The candidate should have high attention to detail and experience with data validation
• The candidate should posess a basic understanding of statistics (with professional or academic experience conducting ANOVA, Regressions, Chi-Squared, and other statistical tests)
• While no dashboarding experience is required, experience with (or eagerness to learn) Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI dashboards is a plus.
