Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems such as security systems, CCTV, and cabling. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems according to specifications
- Perform field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues with low-voltage systems
- Conduct system testing and ensure proper functionality
- Install and terminate cabling for data, voice, and video applications
- Program and configure security systems and CCTV cameras
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proficiency in cabling techniques and standards
- Experience in field service work for low voltage systems
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and computer hardware
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with low voltage systems
- Knowledge of security system installation and configuration
- Understanding of CCTV camera installation and maintenance
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
This is a part-time position offering competitive pay based on experience.
