JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a leading physical security services company based in Florida, seeking a skilled and licensed Limited Energy Contractor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of low-voltage systems including security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, access control systems, and other related systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain, and repair various low-voltage systems in accordance with Florida’s regulatory standards.
• Conduct site assessments and collaborate with the design team to develop installation plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with limited energy systems.
• Ensure all installations and repairs meet the required quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients and other team members.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends in limited energy systems.
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring availability of necessary equipment for projects.
• Comply with all company policies and regulations regarding safety and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Florida Limited Energy (Low Voltage) Contractor license.
• Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of low-voltage systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards in Florida.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• A commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with specific brands or types of security systems.
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Certifications in related fields (e.g., CCTV, Access Control Systems).
