POSITION: TECHNICAL CONSULTANT (Technical Project Specialist)

LOCATION: SUNRISE, FL (ONSITE)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

• Work hours must be flexible, 40 hrs. max per week, will include some evening and weekend work.
• Orient project vendor partners to District protocols and procedures.
• Facilitate communication regarding payment processes, invoicing submissions, and collaboration with inspectors.
• Liaise with school principal and Safety Security & Emergency Preparedness (SSEP) representatives to schedule site walks.
• Plan and participate in site walk-throughs, involving key vendors, SSEP representatives and school administrators.
• Obtain and review placement maps from vendors, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Obtain approval from school administration and safety personnel for proposed maps.
• Identify additional requirements with vendors (e.g., switches, UPS).
• Coordinate purchase order receipt confirmation with vendors.
• Allocate equipment to workers and complete necessary transfer documentation.
• Inventory equipment and prepare validation for work readiness.
• Initiate inspection calls and validate final inspection results.
• Accompany vendor during inspections as needed for problem areas, escalated issues.
• Review vendor invoice and project completion report to ensure payment is ready for review.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
