The IT Director ensures the alignment of the IT Team’s actions and development with the goals and strategies of the company. Detailed job duties are the following:

• Feedback, coach, train members of the IT Development team, including performance appraisals, development plans, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding;
• Establish KPIs to improve the overall performance of the IT team;
• Identify, assess, and negotiate agreements with strategic IT partners;
• Develop ROI studies for projects to support the senior team in the decision-making process, such as investments in redundant cluster solutions with Hyper-V, adoption of cloud environments (Office 365 and AWS), implementation of security controls like Office 365 MFA, Sonicwall Firewalls, Cloudflare;
• Design and management of the company’s technological roadmap, aligning the roadmap with the goal and expectations of the senior management team, with prioritization of safe and scalable solution as AWS, Odoo, WAF, IPS, Network redundancy, etc.
• Communicate accurate project status to stakeholders promptly;
• Ensure best practices are utilized and implemented by the team;
• Prioritize requests in alignment with company priorities: Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, and Efficiency;
• Manage company budgets aligned with the team’s road map and the company’s long-term growth strategy;
• Collaborate with the team to define system requirements aligned with the company’s roadmap;
• Design, in partnership with the team RFP for services and projects such as Python development (Odoo), Microsoft Service Management, Endpoint Security Service Management, CCTV infrastructure, and Cloud Management Services;
• Coordinate response to Cybersecurity Incidents, such as data leaking, Denial of Service, ransomware, etc.
• Support the team in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to Network Infrastructure (Microsoft Servers, Cisco Switches, Office 365) and our e-commerce platform based on a
• Multi-cloud structure (Digital Ocean, AWS, Hurricate Electric).Core Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
• Oversee the development of new solutions and improvements to current solutions;
• Monitor the performance of the IT systems to improve productivity and reduce risk.
• Responsible for the cyber security of all company networks and systems, on-premise and in the cloud;
• Determine and document requirements and processes for all systems utilization and maintenance;
• Act as a technical resource on technology projects;
• Analyze business requirements and create Scope of Work documentation as needed.
• Recommend training or provide support to users on technology issues;
• Keep up with industry trends and identify opportunities to adopt technologies/methodologies;
• Define and implement internal QA processes;
• Alignment technical efforts with company and department objectives;
• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software

Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT team management supervising a team of three or more IT professionals; Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project management; Minimum 3 years of experience with cloud management (AWS or Azure) implementing scalable and secure network sharing, e-commerce, and backup functions. Degree requirement is bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Technology Management, or a closely related field, or the equivalent (as determined by a qualified and professional evaluation service)
