TeamWorld Corporate Programs is Hiring a Remote Business Analyst - This position is not remote

This position is onsite Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

The Business Analyst serves as the strategic interface between company departments for identifying and documenting opportunities and solutions to improve the business through technology, primarily focused on the ERP system. The Business Analyst is the project lead on determining requirements for internal and external system integration projects, workflow enhancements, and functional improvements. She or he is a generalist for multiple technological solutions, with primary focus on the function of the ERP system across all modules and business functions. This person communicates decisions, priorities, and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives. They proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the technological framework and enhance the design process and software solutions.
  • Translate users’ needs into software requirements for the development team, using tools like GAP analysis.
  • Coordinate with the development team and the IT team on the development of new solutions and business cases.
  • Help departments achieve a smooth flow of business by leveraging the capabilities of the ERP system.
  • Act as a functional generalist for multiple systems, with a primary focus at our ERP (Odoo)
  • Develop procedures and documentation to support a lean software pipeline workflow.
  • Collaborate with the Master Data team to define data structure for new software solutions.

Manage IT projects, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and ensure process compliance and optimization.

  • Manage projects Roadmap and pipeline prioritization.
  • Communicate with the company results and milestones of IT projects.
  • Act as Project Manager on major implementations and integrations for internal systems and customer-facing projects.
  • Act as the key liaison across all functional areas, including business units, the information technology department, and outside vendors.
  • Identify training opportunities and partner with Department Managers to ensure process compliance within the ERP.
  • Analyze business performance and develop strategic plans for cost control purposes
  • Perform business analysis, ROI and prepare recommendations and business plans as needed.
  • Partner with the Cost Controller to identify ways to systematically capture and utilize information in business processes to reduce costs.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (4-year) in information systems, computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience managing software systems including writing software in an enterprise environment.
  • Three years’ experience in project management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business principles.
  • Basic understanding of web-based technologies.
  • Must have impeccable attention to detail and dedication to process compliance.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements and negotiate satisfactory solutions.
  • Exceptional documentation and writing skills.
  • No regular travel required. Some infrequent travel to other facilities for collaboration and on-site support.
  • Continuous learner. Must be dedicated to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technology solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Inventory, and accounting fundamentals.
  • Excellent computer skills and comfort working in different software applications.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
