JOB DESCRIPTION: Our engineers require both proven experience with technology and outstanding personal and customer service communication skills. You are a fit for our team if you are a problem-solver and enjoy building solutions that leverage technology to meet a client's business needs. Our engineers have hands-on expertise enhancing our client's day-to-day technology infrastructures (Windows and email config, PC server and workstation configuration, networking, virtualization (VMware), cloud services (Azure, AWS), and much more). In this role, you will work with account teams to produce monthly written reports through email and PowerPoint presentation that are delivered on a regular basis directly to our customers. Secondarily, you may also work jointly with sales to provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including tasks such as technical discovery meetings, site visits, technical proposals, and presentations, technical assessments, implementation, and ongoing technical account management. A positive, fun, service-oriented, team-oriented, outgoing, and communicative personality is a must.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Proven experience developing crisp written, grammatically correct, customer-facing written material.
• Basic understanding of configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Active Directory, and MS365. Experience with same a plus.
• Experience in a client-facing environment such as sales engineering
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable working with clients at a business level to understand their current and historic issues regarding their business and technology
• Possess strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience writing proposals for and implementation of technical solutions to fulfill business needs
• Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player
• Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems
• Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools is a plus
• Ability to problem solve at a high level, extraordinary customer service skills, strong multi-tasking, and organizational skills
• Sales training/experience is a plus
• Valid Driver License and ability to drive to customer locations when required.

Ideally, you will have one or more of the following certifications:

• CompTIA Net and/or CompTIA Security
• MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) MCITP Microsoft Certified IT Professional, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
• CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications are a real plus
• AutoTask and NinjaOne experience are not required but will stand out since we use those daily.
