Our client in the downtown Houston area is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who can assist the pharmacist with labeling prescriptions, issuing medication, and recording patient information while compiling, recording, and maintaining monthly reports. Pharmacy Technician’s Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist on duty with labeling prescriptions, issuing medications, and recording patient and medication information.
• Sort and pre-package medication and pharmaceutical supplies for health center delivery
• Prepare requisitions for pharmaceutical supplies.
• Compile, record, and maintain monthly reports.
• Assemble and maintain pharmacy patient profiles and records of medications, usage, and other medication information.
• Maintain levels of supplies and ensure compliance with Texas state pharmacy regulations.

Pharmacy Technician’s Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED and a Pharmacy Technician certification is required.
• Two (2) years of clerical experience in a pharmacy, drug wholesale house, or a related work environment.
• A valid Texas Driver’s License is required.
