The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is seeking two part-time, detail-oriented and responsible individuals to assist with bank reconciliation tasks. In this role, you will work closely with the finance team to ensure the accuracy of financial records by reconciling bank statements with internal records. 

Under direct supervision, the selected candidate will:

• Assist in reconciling bank statements with internal financial records on a regular basis.
• Review and verify transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
• Communicate with bank representatives or other relevant parties to address reconciliation issues.
• Maintain organized documentation of reconciliation activities and related correspondence.
• Collaborate with the finance team to implement improvements in reconciliation processes.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to financial transactions and record-keeping.
• Provide support for other finance-related tasks or projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance

NOTE: The selected candidate is expected to work up to a maximum of 29 hours per week.
