  Consult with clients to learn what their software needs are
• Serve as a liaison between the clients and backend teams to ensure the custom software configurations meet client expectations
• Design & Build application configurations and document / data organization structures to accomplish client goals
• Update project service records within our CRM software

Inertia Legal, a document management and document security support company for law firms, is looking for a Software Consultant. You will be responsible for providing 1st tier support diagnosing client-submitted issues. We are interested in someone who loves software and technology, communicates with compassion & patience, and has experience as a technical paralegal or IT background.

Our Ideal Software Consultant:

• Experienced: A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience within IT or a paralegal with tech experience would be helpful. A PMP is a plus but not required.
• Excellent Computer Skills: Document management experience like NetDocuments, SharePoint, or iManage. SQL is a plus but not mandatory. Experience with Practice Management, Time and Billing, and other legal-specific applications is also valued but not required.
• Self-Starter: Fully engaged in the job, enjoys being challenged and learning new skills. Hardworking & motivated.
• Positive Attitude: Friendly and a good team player, willing to work with others and help wherever needed.
• Customer-Service Oriented: Ability to work with people under stress about their problems patiently and with compassion. Not averse to conflict; able to adapt and approach people with confidence.
• Problem-Solver: Someone who enjoys solving puzzles & fixing problems; stays open-minded and thinks of creative solutions.
