A Behavioral Health Services Provider is looking for Behavioral Health Technicians to provide therapeutic support services to children and adolescents who are victims of sexual abuse and or domestic violence in Berks County. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about improving the lives of children and teens with behavioral health disorders.

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will:

• Work one-on-one with children and adolescents who are victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence in their homes, schools, and communities
• Utilize positive reinforcement, emotional support, psychosocial rehabilitative activities, and crisis intervention strategies

Education, Experience, and Training requirements for a Behavioral Health Technician:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Education or other Human Services related field and 2 years experience working with children (therapeutic support staff, paraprofessionals, personal care assistants (PCA, special education teacher’s aides, etc.)
• OR - Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or A High School Diploma and willingness to complete a FREE 40-hour online RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) training
• Passionate about serving children and families in their natural environments of home, school, and community
• Able to work a mix of day and evening hours
• At least 21 years of age
• A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to get to the homes and schools of clients
