Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated knowledgeable AP Computer Science teacher for private tutoring. The teacher will be needed to help students to develop skills in writing logically-structured, well-documented programs using object-oriented programming in the JAVA programming language. The teacher will assist students one to one in-home at a local library or online and work towards preparing students for theAP Computer Science A exam in May.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Provide individualized academic support and tutoring to students as needed
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other staff to create a cohesive educational experience

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification
- Strong knowledge of computer science/JAVA
- Experience in lesson planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and the ability to work effectively
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools for instruction
