Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and other construction machinery.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical components.
• Execute scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including parts used and work performed.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines during maintenance and repair activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records, including equipment history and repairs performed.
• Communicate effectively with the supervisor and other team members regarding equipment status and required repairs.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Field Technician.
• Solid understanding of construction equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or certification in diesel mechanics is a plus.

Skills:

• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid driver's license.
• Class A CDL License (preferred, but not required)
• Clean driving record
• Any relevant certifications in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment repair.
