Full Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain the reliability and safety of our heavy off-road construction equipment. Candidates must have a minimum requirement of 4 years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining brake systems, transmissions, differentials, engines, suspensions, hydraulic systems and electrical systems specific to heavy off-road equipment.

Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic responsibilities

Perform minor and major repairs on heavy duty construction equipment, such as backhoes, skid steers, loaders, excavators, dozers, Large forklifts, etc.)
Conduct regular preventative maintenance heavy off-road construction equipment, including inspections
Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
Perform regular diagnostic tests on machines
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
Must have own tools (specialty tools provided by company)
Will preform onsite & offsite repairs (company service vehicle for offsite repairs).
