TDEC, a nationally recognized Business Processing Organization (BPO), seeks an experienced Project Manager for a client in our Elizabeth City, NC office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned IT tasks.
• Must be familiar with all phases of the systems development life cycle (SELC).
• Functions as the liaison between the government and contractors.
• Prepare documents that guide the performance of all development, functional and technical activities performed.
• Perform tasks focused on the leadership and/or task management of information systems engineering or systems integration projects preferred.
• Provides technical direction for the complete system development effort.
• May serve as a technical authority for a design or problem area.
• Anticipates problems and works to mitigate the anticipated problems.
• Identifies and resolves unique systems problems using new technology.
• Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates.
• Ensures that tasks are completed within estimated cost and schedule.
• Interacts with Contactor/Government management personnel issuing written and/or oral reports.
• Ensures the development, maintenance and implementation of Program Management Plans and Technical Specifications Plan; documents that guide the performance of all functional and technical activities performed.

Experience Required:

• US Citizenship
• Six (6) years of experience providing technical direction and Project Management.
• Three (3) years supervisory experience in addition to the six (6) years of experience listed above.
• Bachelor’s Degree or an A.A/A.S. in related field and an IT Certification (ex. PMP).

Experience Preferred:

• Experience performing tasks focused on the leadership and/or task management of information systems engineering or systems integration projects
