TDA Research, Inc. has a position open for a Materials Engineer II. TDA is seeking a highly qualified R&D Engineer with a passion for developing advanced technologies and translating them into real-world application. TDA is located outside Denver, Colorado with offices in Wheat Ridge and Golden. We have a staff of 100 mainly engineers and scientists who develop cutting edge chemical processes, materials, and hardware for customers in the defense, aerospace, energy and chemical industries. We rely on a high level of technical competence and efficiency within our team and look for motivated, talented, and skilled innovators to join us in developing advanced solutions.
This position works within a group developing innovative new materials solutions for demanding customers. This person will perform a variety of research and development tasks including laboratory chemical processing, material properties testing, modeling, data interpretation and analysis. The applications for these developed materials are wide ranging. Applicants with prior experience working in projects involving mechanical testing, sample preparation, device design, and prototype preparation are strongly encouraged to apply.

Staff are expected to work on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Therefore, flexibility and an ability to learn new techniques quickly are essential. Teamwork, collaboration, and clear communication are also important as the employee will need to interface with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists.
Recent graduates applying for this opening should include their GPA and undergraduate research experience in their resume.

Annual salary range: $70,000 to $90,000 plus the complete benefits package.
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors as education, experience, skill-set, and/or location.
