ABOUT THE JOB

TCT Network, a national inspirational television network, is searching for a Contributions Clerk. The work location is in Marion, Illinois. This is an on-site position and office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position assists with both donations and shipping/receiving of materials requested by the Network's viewers. The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, and able to keep information within the department in strict confidence. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma required.
• Banking or cashier experience is required.
• Experience utilizing Office 365 programs such as Word and Excel along with familiarity with Outlook email, and web-based software.
• 35 lbs. lifting ability essential.
• Must have a heart for ministry and the ability to professionally and comfortably interact with others.

SKILLS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other departments.
• Ability to keep shipping materials organized and log inventory.
• Ability to operate office equipment used to produce receipt letters, schedules, etc.
• Proficient with numbers and the use of a 10-key calculator.
• Ability to be a part of a team that deals with highly confidential matters.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency within a deadline-oriented fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for opening the arrival of mail, date-stamp, and distributing to departments.
• Responsible for assisting with the preparation of the daily receipts which involves mailing remittance receipts, appreciation gifts, etc.
• Responsible for UPS and first-class mail preparation and distribution.
• Responsible for monitoring inventory of deposit books and informing Controller when low.
• Responsible for maintaining sufficient bulk mail supplies.
• Responsible for alphabetizing and filing completed credit/debit card forms.
• Responsible for being able to function in any position in the contributions department, if necessary.
• Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the Contributions Manager.
