Job Summary:

Together, our family of companies comprises one of the largest property management services in the Philadelphia area. We are currently seeking a customer service orientated person for a Client Care Coordinator position. This individual will work closely with the Client Relations Team and the Maintenance Coordinator to manage all aspects of the management of the property - from property compliance, tenant relations, unit turns, account management and client communications. This is a highly collaborative and team-driven position.

This is a full-time position that offers paid time off, paid holidays, medical/vision/dental benefits, a 401(k) with a company match in a fast-paced but relaxed office environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate with tenants to resolve outstanding issues concerning their tenancy at a managed property
  • Assist with the management of unpaid tenant account balances
  • Oversight and management of Rent Assistance Programs
  • Complete rent collection efforts through phone calls, emails and text messaging
  • Communicating with property owners and the TCS team regarding tenant issues including status of outstanding balances, collection efforts and ongoing tenant concerns
  • Following up on issues secondary to unpaid balances
  • Resolve tenant issues and complaints concerning billing, outstanding balances, maintenance issues, and other related issues.
  • Work closely with the TCS team and property owners to manage and address tenant concerns.
  • Coordinate with our outside legal representatives concerning pre-eviction and eviction procedures and filings.
  • Manage the status of eviction notices & status.
  • Attend court hearings as needed to represent our clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on tenant-landlord laws and regulations
  • Contribute to further development of internal controls as they pertain to tenant relations and collection of rents.
  • Perform special projects and duties as required or requested

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent, some college a plus
  • At least two (2) years of customer service experience.
  • Property Management experience is a plus

Skills Required:

  • Ability to conduct financial analysis and research
  • Understand accounting theories, principles, and practices of the following:
    • Accounting
    • Debt collection laws and regulations
    • Rental Assistance Programs
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify problems and recommend solutions as they relate to tenant occupancy of a managed property
  • Detail oriented & highly organized
  • Effective use of time management with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills. Must be patient and a “people-person”
  • Highly motivated with creative problem solving and negotiation skills
