Philadelphia based Property Management company is looking for a Handyperson for our growing Maintenance & Renovations division! Canidate must be a versatile and skilled individual who can perform a range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks. Their primary responsibility is to address various issues and projects around residential or commercial properties. Tasks will include, but may not be limited to:
-Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other trades.
-Inspect and assess the scope of work required for repairs or installations.
-Troubleshoot and diagnose problems to determine the best course of action.
-Provide cost estimates for materials and labor required for projects.
-Purchase necessary materials and supplies needed for the job.
-Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
-Install, assemble, or repair fixtures, furniture, appliances, or equipment.
-Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas before and after completing projects.
-Communicate with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
-Maintain records of completed jobs, including time spent, materials used, and any relevant notes.

Requirements

 Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge and experience in various maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general handyman skills.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Ability to assess and troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutions.

Good communication skills to interact with clients and understand their requirements.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects if required (at least 50 lbs).

Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work in a safe manner.

Flexibility to adapt to different projects and handle unexpected situations.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to different job sites if necessary.
