WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Inventory Analyst role is responsible to Lead and Coordinate all Inventory activities for TCC Group Companies. Develop effective inventory processes to ensure efficient, consistent, and accurate inventory transactions. The inventory management role will continuously evaluate current and assist with development of future processes while performing the daily activities to support the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory Management
- Identify & document processes (SOP's) to ensure efficient, consistent, and accurate inventory transactions across multiple business functions (i.e. receipt of goods, inventory transfers, work order completions, supplier returns, etc.)
- Create and Maintain SKU's, including item location configuration, Inventory count, planning, Hazmat, and Lot Control data. Collaborate with Accounting on the BOM's & costing for the completion of routings, cost rollup and revaluation of inventory.
- Manage cycle counts for all locations on a consistent basis.
- Coordinate annual physical inventory across all locations.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies from cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
- Lead investigations to determine root cause of inventory discrepancies and create action items for future inventory controls.
- Assist in resolving receiving and AP issues related to inventory.
- Identify obsolescence excess & slow-moving finished goods communicating with technical, manufacturing, marketing & finance in the release of new products & phase-out of old products.
- Drive inventory management, production planning, and scheduling data modeling and analytics.
- Work in collaboration with other departments to ensure best practices in inventory management.
- Support Region and Plant Managers in all aspects of inventory control.
- NetSuite power-user
- Maintain and advise on changes to NetSuite inventory system as required. Ensure accuracy of the inventory transactional data.
- Manage and develop training at all facilities for Operations and support teams.
- Serves as a common business voice for TCC Group Companies in process and initiatives for NetSuite Operations function inside Organization.
- Owns and Responsible for the execution and process improvement for the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) process for NetSuite Operations.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
- Business acumen is required with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work successfully without close supervision.
- Must be able to multi-task in an accurate and timely manner.
- Possess ability to effectively conceptualize, plan and organize.
- Ability to act as a lead, delegate, and coordinate a cross functional team toward a common goal.
- Proficient with Windows PC and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the construction material industry is a plus.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Bachelor's degree and knowledge of financial analysis techniques used in business, operations or manufacturing,
