TCC Materials is Hiring a Region Manager-Sales Manager-Hardscapes and Precast Near Mendota, MN

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Primarily responsible for promoting and selling Amcon Concrete Products Hardscape and Precast lines of products. Work with sales reps and accounts to develop and maintain a profitable customer base, promote specifications, service existing customers, ensure customer satisfaction for Amcon products and services. This position will have sales management responsibilities, including assigned sales analysis, staff supervision and administration duties. Primary emphasis is placed upon managing key accounts, internal support services, developing and growing base business, customer satisfaction, maintenance of a close working relationship with the Corporate Management Team and developing new market opportunities to achieve the sales and contribution objectives of TCC Group Companies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist the Corporate Management Team in the development of an annual strategic business plan. The plan will include projections of strategic sales and marketing plans, as well as personnel and product initiatives.

· Work with executive management, corporate personnel, and region managers to promote company objectives to achieve the corporate goals and objectives of the annual business plan. Develop and monitor business plans for new or repositioned products.

· Manage the hardscapes and precast sales reps in the Business Unit. Expectations include sales rep ride-along, pre-call planning, post call planning. Utilize the Sandler Sales Method and integrate that into the Business Unit sales team. Visit prospective and established customers, solve customer problems and complaints in a timely manner and determine customer satisfaction level with Amcon sales and distribution procedures.

· Work closely with Region Manager-Operations and Business Development Manager to facilitate a timely and accurate production planning and order-fulfillment processes.

· Support, maintain and enhance commercial and retail distributor relationships.

· Develop new accounts through core and emerging markets. Focus on the growth and development of commercial product lines and accessories.

· Manage the sales efforts of the Business Unit to sell company products, ideas, and programs to industry shareholders, including distributors, hardware stores, home centers, lumber yards, mass merchandisers/Big Box stores, building supply wholesalers and retailers, and contractors that are interested in carrying/utilizing the TCC Group product lines.

· Training: Develop technical and application knowledge of Amcon product lines. Conduct customer product knowledge clinics and train store personnel. Provide technical support and product application training to commercial and retail distributors.

· Work closely with Corporate Management Team, Region Manager- Operations, Product Manager, and sales staff to ensure timely market introduction of new products and product modifications. Assist in the development and implementation of new products and services. Evaluate new markets and identify growth potential for Package Products.

· Work with and provide feedback to the National Sales team to support the efforts of the TCC Group Licensee programs to best grow the hardscapes and precast lines throughout the nation.

· Attend and participate in local, regional, and national industry trade associations to develop and strengthen relationships important to the sale of TCC Group product lines.

· Communicate, implement, and apply company policies & procedures.

· This position will be required to diplomatically manage and resolve employee issues, disputes, lateness/absenteeism, etc. by working collaboratively with the Corporate Human Resources department to follow guidelines and policies.

· Utilize industry software and websites to work closely with the Amcon Architectural and Engineering Representative to promote Amcon hardscape and precast products to the greater designer and specifier community.

· Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers; promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company; ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.

· Recommend pricing policies consistent with objective data regarding competition, manufacturing costs, profitability, and business conditions.

· Perform all other duties as assigned by TCC Group Management

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational/leadership skills.

· Strong communication abilities with solid interpersonal/networking skills.

· Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Must be an effective problem solver – proactive approach to problem solving.

· Must be capable of managing and leading people.

· Must be able to multi-task in an accurate and timely manner with superior time management skills.

· Possess ability to effectively conceptualize, plan and organize. Previous knowledge of developing sales/marketing plans for assigned territory.

· Evidence of leadership and professionalism

· Working knowledge of PC Window’s environment, computer literate with the ability to analyze and manage data.

· Knowledge/experience in the commercial and residential construction materials industry.

· Experience with presentations and technical seminars.

· College Degree and 3-5 years’ relevant experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,875.49 - $80,538.23 per year
