Position : Air Export Operations Specialist

Location : Farmingdale, NY

Type : Full-time, Hybrid Work Model

Schedule : Monday Friday

Salary : Up to $75K

Job Description : As an Air Export Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the international air export process from inception to completion.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Issuing and rating air waybills, house air waybills, and consolidations.
• Providing competitive rate quotations and negotiating pricing with vendors to ensure optimal pricing, routing, and service.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
• Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely receipt and submission of all required documentation.
• Liaising between vendors, suppliers, forwarders, and agents to obtain up-to-date shipment information.
• Providing accurate updates to customers on the progress of their shipments.
• Ensuring compliance with U.S. export laws and regulations.

Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international air freight operations.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including Outlook, Windows, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of domestic trucking, EEI filing, U.S. export regulations, and customer service experience.
• College degree preferred or equivalent working experience.
