TBest Services is seeking an experienced Non-CDL Delivery Driver for one of our clients in Buffalo, NY to complete our client's team.

In this role your primary responsibility will be to transport and collect a range of goods, equipment and supplies directly.

Responsibilities :

• Efficiently handle freight using cranes, conveyors, piggybacks, or manual methods, adhering to specific procedures and regulations.
• Ensure the safe navigation of routes to job sites, strictly complying with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Accurately reconcile customer deposits and receipts for all valuables managed during daily operations.
• Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, addressing any issues promptly and appropriately.
• Keep the van / truck in a clean and orderly condition.
• Oversee, prepare, and maintain the company's equipment in the warehouse, ensuring readiness for orders.
• Engage in cross-training activities, offering assistance and advice in related tasks as needed.
• Perform activities that involve lifting, moving, and handling objects up to 50 pounds.
• Undertake driving assignments to various locations as required.
• Maintain accurate and current driver's logs and vehicle inspection sheets.
• Adhere to DOT standards, particularly in the transport and placarding of hazardous materials.

Qualifications :

• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds continuously.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle in a variety of driving scenarios and conditions.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment specific to the assigned branch fleet.
