Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory, purchasing, and distribution of speciality foodservice equipment parts. Your expertise in supply chain management and speciality foodservice equipment diagnostics will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department. Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain inventory levels of speciality foodservice equipment parts - Monitor and track parts orders to ensure timely delivery - Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing and terms - Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records - Coordinate with service technicians to identify and order necessary parts for repairs - Oversee the shipping and receiving process, ensuring proper documentation and handling of parts - Utilize data entry systems to update inventory records and generate reports - Supervise parts personnel, providing guidance and training as needed - Maintain a clean and organized parts department Requirements: - Previous experience in parts management or related field - Strong knowledge of diagnostics and repair processes - Proficient in supply chain management principles and practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Familiarity with data entry systems and inventory management software - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Skills: - Experience with equipment repair, including forklifts and other warehouse machinery - Mechanical knowledge of systems We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
