Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishing coats of plaster or compound to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to prepare them for painting or wallpapering. Your attention to detail and expertise in drywall finishing techniques will contribute to the overall quality and appearance of our projects. Duties: - Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to desired specifications - Tape and apply joint compound to seams between drywall panels - Smooth out imperfections and ensure a seamless finish - Sand surfaces using hand or power tools to achieve a smooth texture - Repair damaged drywall by patching or replacing sections as needed - Apply texture to walls and ceilings using various techniques - Prepare surfaces for painting or wallpapering by removing old paint or wallpaper - Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in the drywall finishing process Skills: - Proficient in tile laying, masonry, carpentry, and metal stud framing - Knowledge of construction estimating and restoration industry practices - Experience in mold remediation and fixture installation is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work - Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials when necessary If you have experience as a Drywall Finisher and possess the skills mentioned above, we encourage you to apply.
