Position Summary:

TaxConnex is seeking a highly coachable Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing and Demand Generation team. This role will provide crucial support for a wide range of functions across departments. You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience collaborating with key players to implement new campaigns and strategies that increase brand awareness and drive engagement and manage all our events and conferences throughout the year.

This role will report to our Director of Marketing and will be responsible for the upkeep of our martech stack, assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, lead delegation and support the implementation of partner initiatives. We are a small marketing team that does a lot of great work, you will have exposure to many different aspects of marketing and wide variety of projects and get to own several aspects of our marketing processes, especially with Event Programs.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:


Event Support

  • Aide in the planning and execution of events, tradeshows, and conferences
  • Managing events calendar and keep all relevant team members up to date
  • Assist in the planning and promotion of all pre and post show communication
  • Manage promo item inventory

Sales Enablement Support

  • Monitor event email inbox
  • Lead assignment and delegation of all inbound leads to our sales team
  • Manage the Partner Gift Program
  • Collaborate on the implementation of partner initiatives

Campaign and Content Support

  • Coordinate mailings as needed
  • ICP reserach
  • List segmentation, importing and tracking
  • Campaign tracking and report in both company CRM and marketing automation tool (salesforce and hubspot)
  • Creation of promotional materials and brochures
  • Assist in development of our content; including podcasts, social posts and other...

General Website Maintenance

  • Website updates, maintenance and improvements (website built in Hubspot, coding not needed)
  • Assisting in creating landing pages for content or campaigns

Martech Tools Maintenance

  • Ensure integrity of Hubspot and Salesforce through data analysis, deduplication, file organization and data cleanup

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field
  • 3-5 years of marketing, operations, or business development experience
  • Experience with event marketing
  • Working knowledge of social media, content development, design and marketing concepts used to attract, engage, and convert prospects
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to gain the trust and respect of team and peers
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to think strategically
  • Highly coachable, self-motivated, and organized
  • Desire to learn and work in multiple areas of marketing to assist in driving demand for the company

Note: this role is for hybrid candidates, those who reside in the Atlanta area will have to come into the office.
