Summary:

The logistics Coordinator will be playing a role to ensure that the logistics function within the Distribution center is executed in a professional, timely, and customer service focused manner. Interacts with Customer Service and Distribution internally and external vendors as well. Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation, coordinating pickups from multiple locations, analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
• Coordinating pickups from ports as well as warehouses.
• Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.
• Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.
• Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
• Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
• Update and maintain market cost analysis to be reviewed monthly.
• Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers.
• Responsible for avoiding missed pickups and deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Bilingual in English/Mandarin Chinese strongly preferred.
• Degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in logistics management required.
• Working knowledge of port drayage operations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Good management and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
• Able to prioritize work, delegate, and meet deadlines.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Compensation:
