Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Professional Bartender to join our team at Taverna Restaurant. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests through your exceptional bartending skills and warm, engaging personality. You will be a face of our bar, crafting delicious cocktails, engaging in friendly conversations, and building lasting connections with our clientele.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, and other beverages with precision and creativity.

Provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service to guests at the bar.

Engage with guests, build rapport, and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Listen to and anticipate guests' preferences, offering drink recommendations and customized beverage options.

Maintain an organized and well-stocked bar area, including liquor, glassware, and garnishes.

Ensure adherence to all legal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.

Handle cash transactions, maintain accurate cash drawer, and process payments.

Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service and a seamless guest experience.

Keep the bar area clean, organized, and sanitized in accordance with health and safety standards.

Stay updated on current beverage trends, and contribute to developing new cocktail offerings.

Provide excellent customer service, resolving any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-end restaurant or bar.

Exceptional knowledge of cocktail preparation, mixology, and beverage service.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to connect with guests and build a loyal clientele.

A mature and professional demeanor.

Knowledge of wines, spirits, and Italian cuisine is a plus.

Must be of legal drinking age and hold required certifications.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
