Job Posting - Dental Hygienist

Tatum Highlands Dentistry is a leading dental practice operating in the dental industry. We are dedicated to providing top-quality dental care and exceptional customer service to our patients.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in the Dental Hygiene department. This is a full-time position with regular working hours at our location.

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing of teeth
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-treatment care instructions
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures and surgeries
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Perform oral cancer screenings
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation when necessary
• Record and maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
• Assist with accounting tasks, such as processing payments and insurance claims
• Handle administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Valid dental hygienist license in the state of Arizona
• X-ray, Local anesthesia, Nitrous oxide, and laser cerified
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist
• Proficient in performing dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health principles, and oral hygiene products
• Familiarity with dental x-rays and radiography techniques
• Ability to use dental software for patient records and treatment planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Availability to work full-time

Salary Range: $40 to $55 per hour
