Responsibilities:

- Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food items
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with catering events as needed
- Support the dietary department in meeting the nutritional needs of residents

Skills:
- Previous experience in the food service industry or as a cook is preferred, but will work with the right candidate
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe execution
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient workflow
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
