Summary: This position primarily supports daily operations of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority(ICJIA) Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Center for the agency’s Adult Redeploy Illinois (ARI)initiative, proving coaching, training, consulting, and related services to ARI grantees around the state. The program manager, in collaboration with Center partners and TTA Center Director/staff, coordinates development and delivery of all consulting and TTA activities for Center grantees to ensure that action plans, individual TTA plans, goals, and milestones are fulfilled. This individual will work collaboratively with internal staff and external partners, grantees, ICJIA/ARI staff, and other stakeholder organizations. 

We are currently looking for full-time – Program Manager - ICJIATTA

Starting at $52K– contingent upon experience, education, etc. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manages consulting, training and technical assistance deliverables designed to reduce recidivism and build community recovery. Assist grantees in developing action plans and individualized TTA plans based on the project, grantee state of readiness, and other considerations.
  • Provides consulting to grantees through activities such as on-site and remote training, technical assistance and coaching, assessing sites’ needs, determining levels of TA interventions, writing/editing Center materials, contributing to Center workshops/presentations, conducting interviews, and developing recommendations to help grantees meet project goals.
  • Works with consulting clients, project partners and funders, cultivating positive, productive relationships and providing good customer service. 
  • Ensures timely completion/delivery of quality contract deliverables, including working with grantees and partners on products such as newsletters or briefs, workshops, etc. through coordination with Center Director and staff, subject matter experts and external partners.
  • Assists with administrative project documentation, narratives and budgets for consulting and training projects and contracts.
  • Contributes regular updates on progress of deliverables through the development and maintenance of appropriate reports and tools, as well as in supervision and team meetings.

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, criminology from an accredited college/university or related field.
  • Master’s Degree preferred in related field.
  • At least three years’ experience in relevant fields including corrections, criminology, health and justice systems, etc.
  • Strong project and financial management skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with diverse partners.
  • Works autonomously and takes initiative to lead consulting delivery and product
  • development.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate and attend to “big picture” issues, while managing detailed, day-to-
  • day concerns.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Ability to prepare written materials for various audiences, including reports and
  • correspondences.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in an extremely fast paced environment.

The agency currently offers hybrid work schedules that combines in-office and remote work. Employees are required to report to the work site three days per week with the option to work up to two days remotely.
