Tarvos Talent has a rapidly growing client located in Downtown Austin seeking an Accounting Clerk. This role will be immediate hire and a great opportunity for potential long-term employment.

Job Duties:

• Validate and authorize supporting documents for weekly invoice disbursements (e.g., scrutinize invoices for precision, ensure proper approval, and accurate coding)
• Examine expense reports to verify coding accuracy and secure required approvals
• Support billing, collections, reconciliations, monthly closures, and other designated projects
• Ensure meticulous and accurate filing of documents, adhering to company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Monitor account balances to identify outstanding debts or discrepancies
• Issue monthly customer account statements or as needed
• Provide management with reports on accounts payable and accounts receivable activity

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
