Tarsus Pharmaceuticals is Hiring a Manager II, HRIS Near Irvine, CA

About the Role

Reporting to the Director, HR, this role will have broad experience in HCM systems, understand HR processes, systems, and technology that support those processes, and can translate the HR vision to internal and external stakeholders, partners, and vendors.

Let's talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead the administration, configuration, and ongoing management of ADP Workforce Now and other HR systems, including ATS and Performance Management systems, to ensure optimal performance and utilization.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of systems constraints and interdependencies, including EDI file feeds and data exchange between systems.
  • Triage and manage report delivery process to ensure timely and compliant analytics delivery.
  • Play an integral part in delivering the HRIS strategy and road map that supports and aligns with our business, HR strategy and objectives.
  • Ensures SOX compliance in systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain standard reports, partner with key stakeholders to create custom reports on an ad hoc basis to support business needs; drive HR analytics and delivery
  • Responsible for requirements documentation for ADP reports and dashboard creation.
  • Responsible for the creation and management of routine HR data quality audits. This will include audit report design, system notifications, and management via a controlled process.
  • Act as a liaison/integration point between HR & IT and manage HRIS vendors.
  • When dealing with data privacy controls, ensure a process is established when working with sensitive and confidential data.
  • Test and inspection of system integration output to ensure all downstream data impacts are as intended.
  • Understands and drives effective usage, integration, and coordination of HR and enterprise tools and systems.
  • Leads the implementation of new systems and processes, using a data-driven approach.
  • Identifies improvements, new tools and ideas to existing processes, including opportunities to automate tasks and connect HR Operations systems and establish scalable solutions to empower our HR function to efficiently support the business and the employee experience.
  • Supports the development and drives communication of materials to provide updates, analytics and metrics to all levels of organization, including the executive team.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the business to ensure HR programs and systems best support employee and business needs.
  • Develop, provide and measure ongoing HR analytics to HR Team and Tarsus Leadership.

Factors for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HRIS or HR related roles, with expertise in HR technology across multiple HR functions (i.e., benefits, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, etc.).
  • Experience working in ADP Workforce Now required. Experience with Greenhouse and Lattice a plus.
  • Proven track record of managing and implementing HR systems and projects, with sound project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing priorities as needed.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in SOX HR controls implementation.
  • Requires demonstrated presentation, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex issues to resolution through successful collaboration and timing decision-making.

At Tarsus, we understand the importance of attracting and retaining top talent. The expected base pay range for this position is $107,200 - $150,200 plus bonus, stock equity, and comprehensive benefits. The base pay range reflects the target range for this position, but individual pay will be determined by additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
