Tarrant’s West has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced restaurant professional to join our team! The Assistant Manager is responsible for all successful FOH operations and staffing. Specific duties include the below:

• Hire, train and evaluate all FOH staff including bartenders.
• Handle employee relations issues through to resolution.
• Open and close the restaurant using the checklist provided by the GM.
• Supervisor front of house, back of house, delivery and contract workers in the restaurant.
• Order wine and beer within budget.
• Check in all product and properly file paperwork according to company standards.
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
• Create schedules for FOH personnel with no planned overtime and meets pars set by the GM.
• Oversee catering and banquet events.

Qualified applicants will be at least 21 years of age and will have a successful work history as a FOH Manager or Assistant Manager for a minimum of two years. Additionally, the ability to work 40 to 50 hours a week is required.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
