Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the company. You will assist in managing the daily activities of the business, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Assist in managing all aspects of the business, including sales, operations, and customer service
- Support the Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
- Conduct employee orientation and ensure all staff members are well-informed about company policies and procedures
- Assist in creating and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness
- Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels at all times
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement sales goals and targets for the team
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving customer complaints or issues in a timely manner
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Conduct interviews for potential candidates and make hiring recommendations to the Manager
- Collaborate with the Manager to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee engagement
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in sales management or store management is preferred
- Knowledge of recruiting practices and interviewing techniques
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on sales reports and financial information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work well under pressure
