Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Reports to: Company Controller
Position Type: Full-Time Salary
Role and Responsibilities
- Reviews and oversees all accounts.
- Keeps records of company register.
- Data entry and reporting to bank.
- Prepares and reports a budget based on previous year trends.
- Issues credits and debits to customers and vendors.
- Issues vendor approval and reviews accounts to issue weekly check runs.
- Obtains credit approvals and sets limits for customers.
- Working with all other departments as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant preferred.
- 7-10 years of accounting experience, including public accounting.
- Technical skills and experience in financial reporting, consolidation accounting
- Must have experience in managing others and able to be assertive.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
