JOB SUMMARY

As an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) technician you will play a vital role as a member of the TMG Maintenance Team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. Your specialty in installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in crucial in ensuring that these systems function optimally, providing comfortable, safe, and efficient environments at our business locations. Displays companies core values by displaying a positive attitude, maintaining a commitment to quality through all aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• HVAC installations
• Routine maintenance
• Troubleshooting and repair
• Responsible for proper waste disposal.
• Responsible for parts, tools and equipment acquisitions.
• Ensure that preventive maintenance is completed on time.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and timely property and equipment repair.
• Participate in training programs to elevate the overall maintenance competencies of the team.
• Accountable for keeping a record of all the day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken during operating hours.
• Comply with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while carrying out maintenance functions.
• Perform all HVAC maintenance tasks on schedule and on budget
• Develop critical SOPs that standardize department functions
• Create and manage preventive maintenance schedule for all properties and equipment including the department assets.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of employees and external parties, both directly and on the telephone.
• Capability to use a computer to prepare required/requested correspondence, reports, memorandums, and other documentation as necessary.
• Capability to review written documents for accuracy and completeness. Always maintain confidentiality of data and information.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent,
• Minimum 3 years related training and experience with commercial/industrial HVAC.
• Must have completed a trade school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
• Must have strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to conduct physical work, including but not limited to lift, carry, (up to 50 pounds) and operate business equipment and supplies.
• Must be able to regularly use hand and fingers, reach with hands and arms, handle, feel; stoop, crawl or kneel.
• Must be able to work indoors and in outside weather conditions, ie: wet, humid, freezing conditions.
• Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred.
