TapBlaze is Hiring a Junior Game Narrative Designer (FT) Near Los Angeles, CA
We are looking for a junior narrative designer that deeply cares about the work they do to help us further expand the "Good Pizza, Great Pizza" storyline and a new game we have been working on.
The ideal candidate who designs stories with interesting characters and compelling narratives can follow the established style and tone of our games and can write from a variety of perspectives.

OBJECTIVES:
Collaborate with the content team to plan the game’s setting, characters, and storylines
Design and write pitches for story chapters and game events
Create new game chapters, stories, dialogs, and event narrative content
Create and empower player choice adhering to the creative vision of the game
Develop dynamic, diverse characters and stories for our diverse player base
Write, review, and edit game content and dialogs for the company's game titles
Develop writing style guides
COMPETENCIES
Ability to craft stories and dialogs that can be localized to different languages and cultures
Game knowledge and an understanding of the design principles behind games
Understanding and knowledge of the current narrative content in "Good Pizza, Great Pizza"
Familiar with narrative structuring tools such as Arrow, Twine, etc.
Passion for great gameplay; you know how to put the user experience first, and know how to tell a story that blends with gameplay instead of distracting from it
Great attention to detail - you read this job description
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experienced in narrative-driven content
Experience writing branching and non-linear dialogue; use of Twine or equivalent is a plus
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
A prolonged period sitting at a desk and computer
