A consumer products company in New York is actively seeking a collaborative and dynamic professional to join their staff as their new Project Manager of New Product Development & Commercialization. In this role, the Project Manager of New Product Development & Commercialization will work closely with all business departments to develop our new product development items from concept to production.
Responsibilities The Project Manager of New Product Development & Commercialization will:

• Act as the contact between business and co-manufacturing partners to create new and innovative products
• Work closely with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Quality, and Procurement to ensure flawless and timely execution of new product innovations, e-commerce products, promotional launches, and seasonal launches
• Oversee on-time product launches
• Manage all aspects of the timeline for new product launch
• Work with all cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines are hit, tasks are completed, and on-time launch is as expected

Qualifications

• Experience in new product development, supply chain, and manufacturing operations
• Solid project management and timeline skills and cross-functional team coordination
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Excellent communication skills
• Success working with cross-functional project teams

Desired skills

• Experience in manufacturing both domestically and internationally
• Confectionary and plastics technology experience
• Experience working with snacking foods and/or health and wellness foods
