A healthcare services organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their staff as their new Director of Nursing - Ambulatory Care Services. In this role, the Director of Nursing - Ambulatory Care Services will be responsible for nursing practice oversight by organizing and leading the delivery of nursing care for designated patient care areas.
Responsibilities: The Director of Nursing - Ambulatory Care Services will be responsible for:

• Analyzing clinical practice and identifying opportunities to increase quality, safety, effectiveness and efficiency within Primary and Specialty Care
• Identifying clinical indicators to measure, evaluate ad improve care
• Maintaining compliance with all clinical policies, procedures and regulations
• Supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and other healthcare providers who deliver nursing care
• Developing and analyzing options, recommending solutions to and solving complex problems and issues
• Developing and implementing innovative systems and processes that improve staff and patient quality and safety
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in Nursing Administration
• Master's Degree in Nursing Administration or an equivalent field
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS/ BLS Certifications
• Experience in a Hospital and/or Clinic setting
• Experience in a Management and/or Supervisory role
