Tandym Group is Hiring a Data Entry Coordinator / Office Administrative Assistant Near New York, NY

A healthcare network in New York City is looking to add a temporary Data Entry Coordinator / Office Administrative Assistant to their team.

About the Opportunity:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Setting: Remote (but must be readily available to go on site to office if needed)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm (1 hour lunch break unpaid)

Responsibilities:

The Data Entry Coordinator / Office Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Provide customer service by answering questions related to accounts or specific services offered by the company
  • Performing research tasks such as locating phone numbers or addresses in online directories or databases when needed
  • Reviewing incoming documents to ensure they meet company standards for content, format, and structure
  • Ensuring all information is properly organized and formatted before permanent storage
  • Verifying the correctness of entered data, checking for typos, and ensuring values are inputted correctly
  • Inputting data into the system or into an excel spreadsheet promptly and accurately
  • Handling inquiries from colleagues, reaching out to providers on rare occasion to gather additional information needed to complete task at hand
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working within a Healthcare organization
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, etc.)
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to multi-cultural values, beliefs, and attitudes of both internal and external contacts
  • Demonstrate appropriate behaviors in accordance with the organization's vision, mission, and values

Desired Skills:

  • Associate's Degree
  • Experience in a Managed Care setting
