A Westchester County-based healthcare network is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their staff as their new Clinical Director of Quality. In this role, the Clinical Director of Quality will be responsible for implementing the organization’s Performance Improvement plan and priorities consistent with regulatory standards and evidence based best practices.
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Director of Quality will:

• Develop and maintain department specific quality dashboards (Patient Care Services, ED, and Perioperative)
• Lead and/or support clinical process improvement teams as needed to achieve quality and performance improvement goals
• Oversee the management of and responsible for data analysis, collection and outcome measures related to CMS, NYS, AHA, Q-HIP, NDNQI, etc.
• Conduct intermittent clinical audits based upon organizational needs related to regulatory compliance, new process, or policy
• Coordinate mortality reviews
• Serve as a regulatory resource regarding state and federal regulations and standards, including but not limited to CMS, TJC, and NYS
• Create and present data needed for evaluation and appropriate action by committees, leadership, and quality improvement teams
• Represent the organization within and external to the community, when required
• Assist in improving patient experience through analysis of data and implementation of initiatives to improve performance
• Perform other duties, as needed

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Familiarity with Healthcare Clinical Operations and Processes in an Acute Care Hospital setting.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements as related to Hospital setting
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Patient oriented
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

• Master’s Degree in Healthcare specialty
