ACO Operations Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Our Manager, ACO Operations is responsible for advancing key objectives by managing day-to-day operations, overseeing project timelines/schedules/deliverables, and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will bring your strong program management experience, advanced use of population health and business intelligence platforms, and an in-depth understanding of the health care industry and Medicare payment model programs. Your exceptional communication and presentation skills will be showcased as you lead ACO meetings with business and clinical stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate Tandigm Health’s commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.
  • Monitor changes, updates, and trends to MSSP program regulations, and update policies and procedures as necessary to maintain compliance.
  • Communicate changes to ACO leaders and assist with understanding business, clinical, and operational implications.
  • Provide day-to-day management of ACO activities, including project management, problem resolution and other activities to assist in the facilitation of a successful program.
  • Organize regular stakeholder meetings, record key points from discussions including next steps, and disseminate information in a consistent way.
  • Support participant and provider roster management including management of participation agreement.
  • Collaborate across teams within the organization to design, develop, implement, and drive adoption of new tools, reports, and resources; serve as performance team liaison to product and reporting counterparts.
  • Work with senior leadership to develop key performance indicators and regular reports to monitor ACO performance and progress toward goals.
  • Attend meetings and conferences in support of ACO activities and initiatives.
  • Uses, protects, and discloses Tandigm’s patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
  • Adheres to and responsible to abide by all information security policies, processes, and/or activities.
  • Reports security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization to management.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:


EDUCATION

Four-year degree required, MBA, MHA, or MPH preferred

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Valid U.S. State Driver’s License as well as proof of liability and property damage insurance on any vehicle used for business purposes.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years of experience in ACO operations or value-based care operations
  • Experience working with rules and regulations for CMS programs such as MSSP, Reach, Medicare Advantage, or other value-based CMS programs.
  • Working experience of creating and maintain customer and ACO provider relationships, engagement, and buy-in.
  • Requires experience working with, presenting to, and connecting with a diverse spectrum of stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of the MACRA program including MIPS, Advanced Payment Models and ACO rules and regulations, is required.
  • Passionate about transforming the health care system into one that best serves the needs of patients, doctors, and society.
  • High level of initiative, quick learning ability, creativity, and resourcefulness
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and relationship management skills required.
  • Clear and concise communication, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to work under competing priorities, manage workflow and meet operational deadlines in a complex organization.
  • Ability and availability to travel independently, as required.
