Company Overview: Tampa Connect Group, Inc is a dedicated organization committed to supporting job readiness and providing job coaching services to individuals with disabilities and youth in our community. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Training Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for veterans and retired teachers who wish to continue making a positive impact by sharing their knowledge and expertise.

Position Overview: As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with job readiness cases, offering job coaching, and handling administrative duties as needed. The position is part-time, with flexible hours to accommodate your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Job Readiness Training: Provide job readiness training to individuals with disabilities and youth, including resume building, interview skills, and job search strategies.
• Job Coaching: Offer one-on-one job coaching sessions to help clients succeed in the workplace.
• Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks related to client records, program documentation, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Some experience working with youth and individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and Spanish is a significant advantage and may lead to an increased pay rate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and empathy when working with clients.
• Ability to pass a level 2 background.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
