Job Title: Training Camp Assistant – Team Operations Department: Team OperationsReports To: Senior Team Operations Coordinator Status: Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime)The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' vision is to be the premier NFL Franchise, both on and off the field, that sets the standard in global sports entertainment and embodies the spirit of Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers aim to employ individuals whose professionalism and dedication align with our vision. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization is seeking qualified candidates for the Training Camp Assistant position in the Team Operations department. The Buccaneers are offering part-time, temporary, paid positions to highly motivated and committed individuals wishing to build upon their education and professional experience with practical experience in the fast-paced world of the National Football League. Buccaneers Training Camp Assistants will report on or about July (TBD) and work through on or about September (TBD). Applicants must be able to work flexible and some unusual hours, including nights and weekends, according to the team schedule throughout Training Camp. Core FunctionsAssist in the execution of Training Camp logistics, including but not limited to camp set-up (including all off-site locations) the week before camp opens and load-out when camp breaksManage round-the-clock transportation shuttle service between Team Hotel and Team Headquarters, as well as all other shuttle needs/errands as requested per Football OpsCoordinate and execute all airport transfers for players/scouts/special guestsAssist with other team functions as requested, including some game day and team travel preparationsSupport all hotel needs (including player/coach arrivals/departures and luggage transfers, load-in/load-out, beverage stations and in-room beverage service, signageAll other duties as assignedSkills & AbilitiesAbility to stay at team-provided housing if hired Must be a minimum of 21 years of age Must have a valid driver’s license and favorable driving record Strong professional demeanorAbility to work as part of a team and with large groups Ability to collaborate and work well with others Be engaged, interactive, and lively at all times Ability to safely use and drive golf carts and vehicles Perform in a professional manner in a fast-paced and changing environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred Excellent time management, organizational, and oral/written communication skills Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects Experience in the sports industry preferred Work EnvironmentThe Company is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. Other environmental conditions:Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and nightsWork long hours in a variety of weather conditions, including humidity, rain, and intense heat; this position calls for a great deal of physical exertionSitting, standing, working outside for extended periods of time Physical Demands: HIGH; this position calls for a great deal of physical exertionAbility to assist in set-up and breakdown, which may require frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 50 poundsMust be able to work all Training Camp days as assigned This job description is intended to set forth the core functions required for this position and describe the general nature of the work performed by employees in this position.
