Talladega College is seeking an Assistant Professor to teach Computer Science courses in the Computer Science program. This is a tenure-track position reporting to the Department Chair and is slated to begin in fall 2024.
Responsibilities
MS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field from an accredited institution and a minimum of three years’ experience in higher education. Applicants with an interest in cybersecurity, database and programming languages are preferred. The ideal candidate will also have excellent teaching skills; good interpersonal skills; effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to function collegially as a member of the faculty as demonstrated by experience in higher education. The candidate will demonstrate experience or ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse collegiate community. Industry or entrepreneurial experience is useful.
